Hi there! I'm Amanda, a senior designer at IBM Quantum in Denver, CO.
I’ve always admired how thoughtful design has the power to change our world. Whether it’s through simplifying one interaction or giving users an opportunity to view things through a new lens, I love working on projects that make people smile. In the past few years, I’ve found myself in design systems, visual design, front-end, and design education.
I'm also a travel and outdoor enthusiast! When I'm not at the computer you can find me adventuring with my husband, Andrew, hiking with my camera, or skiing every weekend in the winter.
By day, I work on designing and building the future of computing, IBM Quantum. I've built tools for quantum developers, reimagined the IBM Quantum visual identity, and created an award-winning educational game. I currently lead two efforts to standardize our marketing web experience and evolve our design system. It’s been exciting to use design and data to help build a brand new business.
I appreciate you taking the time to look through my site, which has just a slice of my work. If you’d like to see more, or talk through something in more detail, I’d love to take you through my process over the phone or in person.
